In Series One, Annalees and Luna hop off at stations from Gatwick to Amberley and follow walks from each one, meeting the people who work on the railway as well as a whole host of local guests, for an insider’s view of life along the line. They stop at places like Horsham’s local produce and artisan markets, Horsham Museum and local vineyards, the Downs Link and museum at Christ’s Hospital, Pulborough’s restored signal box project and Pulborough Brooks, and the brilliant Amberley Museum in the South Downs.

Every journey along the Arun Valley Line reveals something new – and Series Two dives even deeper.

This time, Annalees and Luna pick things up at Arundel, the next stop after Amberley, with its epic view of the castle from the train as it crosses the River Arun. From there, they explore more stations and follow relaxed walks that lead down to the river and out to the coast, meeting railway staff, local experts and community groups along the way. Expect sea air, ice creams and classic seaside charm at spots like Littlehampton seafront and Bognor Regis pier – all easily reached by train.
